If the link does not work, use this URL: <http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/cr/rl/index.asp>.
- Click on the link offered below and then scroll down to “List Resources,” and click on the hyperlink: “Literature List Resources.”
- On the “Resources” page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Search Categories.”
- On this page, you might enjoy looking at “Awards,” to see specially recognized titles.
- Or go back to the "Resources" page and check out “Previously Published Literature Lists.” There are many links on this page that categorize books according to a variety of content areas and age groups. You can also click on “Recommended Literature Search: Reading and Language Arts” within the second paragraph on this page and search by author, illustrator, translator, discipline, language and more. I would recommend going to "Classification" and selecting “Classic” in the drop down menu.
- From the "Resources" page, you can also click on “Connections to Standards.” The CA Department of Education site reflects CCSS.
